Our courses are suitable for mature professionals with work experience. Legal work experience or legal qualifications are not prerequisites as we cover from Introduction to Advanced Levels.
There is a 2-year time limit to complete Modules. End-of-Module tests are conducted online through our Live Classroom.

Mature students must have relevant office experience and skills.

Module 4 is assignment-based. There will be no end of module test.
A webcam is compulsory for monitoring purposes.

Our Courses are of National Competency Standards set by the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) which sets the standards for education.
In order to be qualified, students must complete a full programme to be able to work as a Paralegal. They can specialise in one or two areas of law.
They are not substitutes for barristers or solicitors so they do not need the same level of qualifications as barristers and solicitors. They must, however, have full knowledge of those areas of law in order to be fully competent to work in Conveyancing, Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation, Matrimonial, Corporate Law.

To be able to study our Paralegal courses, students must have previous office working experience and be fluent in English Language.
Paralegals are legal assistants who are employed to provide a more cost effective level of service within the legal sector under the supervision of solicitors and barristers. They can undertake one or two specialised areas of law rather than covering an entire law syllabus.

•Starting salary can range from $40,000 to $60,000 per annum.

•The number of Paralegals working within the legal profession continues to rise.
On satisfactory completion, they can work under supervision within law firms and other legal departments of the public sector, banking industry, real estate, insurance companies and corporate companies with legal departments.
•There are various levels at which paralegals are employed such as Junior Paralegals, Paralegal Assistants or Senior Paralegals.
•If you are changing careers, you could work either at Junior or Assistant Level depending on your previous work experiences.
Our paralegal training courses cover the Principles of Australian Law with 5 subjects and Procedural Law which includes practical training in completing court applications, property searches, registrations, drafting legal documents, written communications to clients, interviewing skills, negotiating skills, proofreading and much more.
There are 3 stages of qualifications for a Paralegal - Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced.
Intermediate Level qualifies you as a Paralegal. This course covers Introduction to Intermediate Level. Modules 1, 2 and 3 must be completed unless exempt.
Advanced Level qualifies you as a Senior Paralegal. This module can be undertaken by students who have completed Modules 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent.
Law Graduates are not required to complete any further studies to work as Paralegals. Non-law graduates must complete Modules 1, 2 & 3.
